Nakachiyama Power Station
Of three power stations along the Joganji river system, Nakachiyama Power Station is the furthest upstream. It features reinforced concrete construction, rare for its time, and one water turbine. The raised waterway in the foreground of the photo carries water discharged from Nakachiyama Power Station and water drawn from Joganji River to Matsunoki Power Station. Completed in 1924, it is still in operation today.
